If you recently became engaged, then you know it’s time to start booking your wedding for next year. “The Knot Guide to Destination Weddings” ($19.95, Clarkson Potter) is here to help, with step-by-step instructions on making the out-of-town to-do happen, from Aspen to New Zealand. The book begins with deciding on a destination and then takes you through all the details: research, setting up a budget and a wedding website, booking caterers, DJs and photographers from afar, picking the guests and getting them there, working with lodging, wedding insurance, the honeymoon. Helpful checklists are included, and the book is arranged logically, although visual types will be disappointed by the fact that the color photos are few and stacked in front. Otherwise, the guide is user-friendly and thorough.
