Pikes Peak Arts Fest

The Third annual Pikes Peak Arts Fest will be Friday-June 10, inside and outside the newly renovated Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts. The festival features high-quality fine art, fine crafts, performers, food and wine, and hands-on art projects for children. Hours are 4-7:30 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and June 10.

A free outdoor concert, “Rock With Reggae – Featuring Basil Reid” and cash bar will be held 4-7:30 p.m. Friday. Cottonwood Arts Academy opening reception for an invitational show of fine art will be 2-6 p.m. Saturday inside the Pikes Peak Center. “Imagination Celebration,” a free family festival day, will be at 1:30 p.m. June 10 on the main stage of the Pikes Peak Center. Gunnison River weekend

South Suburban Parks and Recreation invites those 18 and over for an invigorating weekend of fun, relaxation and camaraderie on the Gunnison River Saturday and June 10. The outfitter provides all boats and accessories, meals and guides. Bring a tent and sleeping bag. No previous paddling experience required. Fee is $225 ($215 district rate).
