Littleton – Bond was set at $2,000 for a teenager accused of carrying three knives onto a grade-school playground Tuesday in Centennial.

Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputies arrested Justin Gale Kimbrough, 19, on suspicion of possessing a weapon on school grounds and violating a protection order.

Sheriff Grayson Robinson said authorities responded to a report that a man at Peakview Elementary School had a knife.

Some children were outdoors for recess at the time, but their activities were not affected.

Authorities did not release a reason for Kimbrough’s alleged presence at the school.
