LeBron James – not the only “Sopranos” superfan in America – worried before Game 2 of the NBA Finals about what might happen to Tony Soprano in Sunday’s series finale.
“I hope that he’s just able to get away and not worry about nothing,” James said.
Tony did live. But the NBA had more to worry about Monday as water-cooler conversation across the country focused on Tony’s bow and not on basketball.
Game 2 of the NBA Finals on ABC drew a 6.9 overnight rating with 11.1 million viewers, down 24 percent from last year. “Sopranos” numbers weren’t immediately available.
But Game 1 on Thursday lost out to Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” which drew a 6.9 rating.
Heads up, LeBron – tonight’s Game 3 is up against “Veronica Mars” on the CW network.
