A new biography claims Madonna and John F. Kennedy Jr. had planned an intimate romp in a Chicago hotel. Author C. David Heymann writes in “American Legacy” that in the summer of 1988, Kennedy and Madonna had a secret rendezvous but the lack of birth control apparatus stopped the sexual encounter. Rob Littell, one of JFK Jr.’s pals from Brown University, said, “(Madonna) was still legally married to Sean Penn, and he had a steady girlfriend … They were afraid of being busted. ”
We’re not sure if Ryan Seacrest was joking or not, but when asked by the Toronto Globe and Mail about why the ratings for “American Idol” dropped, the host blamed Simon Cowell. “Well, the knee-jerk reaction would be Simon,” Seacrest said. “Clearly there’s an oversaturation of his character.”
Seacrest denied rumors judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson would leave the Fox show. “That’s clearly rumor. I’m positive you can’t re-create the chemistry that we have with the group on ‘American Idol.”‘

People magazine reports Ortiz, 36, and Lebenzon, 37, wed in front of 85 guests, including “Ugly Betty” castmates Ferrera, Ashley Jensen and Mark Indelicato … Comedian Steve Harvey will marry for the second time, to Marjorie Bridges, reported. Harvey divorced his wife of 10 years, Mary Shackelford, in December 2005. The couple have one son .
Claire Forlani and Dougray Scott tied the knot Friday in a private civil ceremony in Italy, People reported. More than 100 guests attended the ceremony for the “CSI: NY” actress and the “Desperate Housewives” actor at the Forlani family’s country home in Pievebovigliana. This is the second marriage for Scott, the first for Forlani.
