TeleTech Holdings Inc., the Douglas County-based provider of outsourcing solutions, announced the launch of its TeleTech@Home dispersed workforce solution in Australia. TeleTech plans to hire up to 500 home-based associates in Australia during 2007 to complement its site-based operations there.

Douglas County-based CH2M Hill and GE Energy announced they will be the engineering and construction contractor for Origin Energy’s new 630-megawatt Darling Downs Power Station in Queensland, Australia.

OpenLogic Inc., a Broomfield-based provider of enterprise open-source software solutions, announced a strategic partnership with Aegif. Aegif will use OpenLogic to provide and support the open-source software needed to run major ECM products, as well as other open-source packages.

The Corner Office Restaurant and Martini Bar opened last week at the corner of 14th and Curtis streets downtown. The Corner Office is the first of several new concept restaurants to be launched by Sage Restaurant Group, a venture of Denver-based Sage Hospitality Resources.

M.A. Mortenson Co. was recently awarded two contracts – worth $96 million – at Fort Carson. Work began in February on a $64 million contract for the design and construction of six company operation facilities. A second contract was awarded for the design and construction of three tactical equipment-maintenance facilities. Construction will begin in September.

Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. of Boulder successfully completed the critical design review for the Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer spacecraft, a NASA mission that will provide an infrared map of the universe.

Intermap Technologies Corp. of Denver and Austin, Texas-based Map Your World announced a partnership where Map Your World, a distributor of online geospatial products and services for the southwest and southeast United States, has agreed to distribute Intermap’s 3-D digital elevation models and images.

New Frontier Energy Inc., a Denver-based natural-resource company, announced that it has acquired a 66.67 percent working interest in an additional 600 gross acres in the Slater Dome Field of northwest Colorado. The new acquisition increases New Frontier’s Slater Dome Field holdings to about 64,400 gross acres.

YouthBiz, an organization that works with disadvantaged inner-city youth, will be the beneficiary of an Aug. 6 golf tournament organized by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of CoreNet Global. The tournament will be presented by the city of Commerce City and held at the Buffalo Run Golf Course.
