Kevin Weiberg announced this afternoon he is leaving after nine years as the commissioner of the Big 12 Conference.
During a teleconference, Weiberg said he is stepping down effective July 15 to accept a job as vice president of the new Big 10 network.
“I think change will be good for me and the Big 12,” he said.
