Best deal: For the golfers, the Emerald Card offers plenty of courses to play (30-plus excellent courses on this small island) for around $20 per round. Even if you don’t use them all, still worth getting.
Best time to go: July through September; the weather is glorious at that time.
Best travel tip: There is plenty to see and do on the island, but the relaxing, friendly atmosphere is very calming and slows down almost anyone’s pace. For all the “Anne of Green Gables” fans, there are many sites, museums and souvenirs. And bring your golf game; the golf here is awesome and affordable.
