Hotel occupancy and average room rates in metro Denver and Colorado improved in May, compared with the same month last year, according to the monthly Rocky Mountain Lodging Report released today.
Statewide, occupancy rates rose by 3 percentage points, to 61.4 percent, while room rates increased $10.63 to $109.77.
In the metro area, hotel occupancy rates rose 2.3 percentage points, to 68.9 percent, and room rates jumped $11.69, to $112.66.
