Boulder – A tuber floating in Boulder Creek bumped into a body today below the 17th Street bridge, police said.
Authorities were alerted at about noon, and paramedics pulled the unidentified adult man from the river. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Boulder police spokeswoman Julie Brooks said.
There were no obvious signs of injury, and authorities will work to determine a cause of death, Brooks said.
The body was fully clothed and wearing a backpack, she said.
