Lindsay Lohan turned 21 Tuesday looking healthy and sober, the New York Daily News reported. The star began making her first public appearances in Los Angeles over the weekend since her snap decision to enter rehab on Memorial Day. Although clearly harried by the paparazzi, Lohan lunched at Taverna Tony’s in Malibu on Saturday and browsed at the Planet Blue boutique. The website noted she was clutching a brand-new iPhone as she exited the shop. A lavish two-day Las Vegas party for her 21st birthday was canceled after she entered treatment at Promises.

Woody Allen says he hopes to create a portrait of the Spanish city of Barcelona on a par with his 1979 film, “Manhattan.” Allen told a news conference in the Catalan capital that he would begin filming Monday. The 71-year-old director-actor said he wanted to picture Barcelona “the same way I presented Manhattan to the world through my eyes.” Allen said he looked forward to working in Barcelona “with great, great enthusiasm.” Johansson, 22, starred in Allen’s recent London-based movies, “Matchpoint” and “Scoop.”

A Nebraska microbrewery has launched a beer for one of America’s most recognizable rednecks: Larry the Cable Guy. Git-R-Done beer, named for the comedian’s famous catchphrase, was launched Saturday by SchillingBridge Winery & MicroBrewery in Pawnee City, the small town where the 44-year-old actor-comedian grew up. The owners of the small family winery say the light beer is made from high- quality ingredients with more “flavor and body” than popular corporate beers. Mike Schilling, who runs the winery with his wife, Sharon, is confident Git-R-Done beer will appeal to the comedian’s fan base. “Rednecks love quality too,” he said.

B.B. King returned to his hometown of Indianola, Miss., for the aptly titled “B.B. King Homecoming Festival.” “It is something that I have been doing for 42 years, playing free for the kids in June,” the 81-year-old blues legend said. With his trademark guitar that he named Lucille, King is one of the nation’s most influential blues musicians. His long list of hits includes “The Thrill Is Gone,” “Every Day I Have the Blues” and “You Upset Me Baby.” In December, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his musical contributions. King, who was born on a plantation in Itta Bena near Indianola, said no one famous came to town to play for the children when he was growing up. “I wanted to let them know that if B.B. King can do it, they can do it better,” he said.
