Tony Pedregon and Cruz Pedregon, two of the top Nitro Funny Car drivers on the NHRA circuit, will team up for a free community car wash to benefit local charities Thursday in Denver.
The Pedregons, who will compete in the Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison beginning Friday, will help give free car washes while collecting donations at Advance Auto Parts, 5496 Federal Boulevard, in Denver.
Mile-High Nationals kicks off the second half of the NHRA’s main series and runs through Sunday at Bandimere.
Cruz Pedregon fell to John Force in the funny car final round at the Thunder Valley Nationals in Briston, Tenn., on Sunday. Tony Pedregon is in fourth place in the funny car series standings, Cruz is seventh.
