CARBONDALE, Colo.—Lightning sparked two wildfires Thursday that threatened homes.
Five structures were threatened in a fire in the Panorama Subdivision that scorched an acre, the Carbondale and Rural Fire Protection District said in a statement.
Another fire in the Prince Creek Subdivision threatened six structures and prompted authorities to alert residents to evacuate. Firefighters were able to contain that blaze to 4 acres.
