The restaurant at the top of Pikes Peak advertises its “world famous high altitude doughnuts.” What makes these doughnuts so special? “Have you ever tried fryin’ something at that height? It’s a secret recipe for 14,110 feet,” answers Amy Shissler, who manages the office up there.
