A Denver couple suspected of running a methamphetamine lab, which started a fire in their home, was arrested today by Denver police.

Aaron Neal and Kimberly June Angelo-Neal, in the presence of their attorney, turned themselves in to a Denver detective, police said.

The couple are suspected of running a meth lab in a home on the 3100 Block of Umatilla Street which caught on fire on July 18, police said.

Their two-year-old daughter has been medically evaluated and placed in protective custody.

Aaron Neal was taken to the Denver Health Medical Center to be treated for burns on his hands and arms, police said. Kimberly Angelo-Neal was held in the Denver Jail.

The couple is being on suspicion of manufacturing and processing a controlled substance for distribution.
