Denver — A moist air mass hovered over northeastern Colorado Saturday, raising chances for more rain for the already soaked eastern plains and parts of the Front Range.
Flash flood watches issued by the National Weather Service for northeastern and east-central Colorado followed Friday’s storms that unleashed an inch or more of rain in parts of the Denver area around evening rush hour. Several streets were flooded.
Forecasters predicted more heavy rains for Saturday. The flash food watches covered portions of northeastern and east-central Colorado. The counties included were parts of Douglas, Broomfield, Arapahoe, Weld, Adams, Elbert, Logan, Washington, Sedgwick, Phillips, Larimer, Boulder and Jefferson.
