Boulder police are searching for the driver of an sport utility vehicle that hit a 21-year-old man early this morning.

The man was walking south on 11th Street around 2:15 a.m., crossing Canyon Boulevard, when he was hit by an SUV heading east on Canyon Boulevard, according to a statement from police.

He was taken to Boulder Community Hospital for injuries to his head and arms. He is expected to recover.

The SUV is described as white or gray with a ski rack. Police also believe there is damage to the front driver’s side.
