KCNC-Channel 4 reported there is an arrest warrant by police in Fort Collins for incoming Colorado State basketball player Stephen Franklin. The allegation is for identity theft.
Franklin led Aurora Central to an undefeated season until the Class 5A title loss to Denver East. Recruited by the prior CSU staff, Franklin signed after the new staff took over.
CSU coach Tim Miles was unavailable for comment. Miles has already dismissed one player, forward Xavier Kilby, after an incident involving a gun in April.
Barring a late signee or walk-on, Miles planned to go into his first season with one open scholarship.
