New military scholarships: The Lincoln College of Technology, which operates several campuses around the country – including one in Denver devoted to automotive and diesel technician training – recently announced that 122 scholarships are available for active and transitioning military personnel, veterans, National Guard Members, reservists and their family members. The application process involves registering at and uploading a written essay or short video. Applications are due Aug. 17.
