“Warriors! Come out to play!” OK, it’s not enough of a New York street fight to make a movie (circa 1979) about, but there will be nowhere to run, nowhere to hide in the Nuggets’ fourth game this season. Yes, on Nov. 6 it’s back to Madison Square Garden against the nasty Knicks. No brawling allowed this time.
The opener isn’t bad, either. The Nuggets start the season at home on Halloween against rookie Kevin Durant and Seattle – on ESPN, no less. Portland and No. 1 pick Greg Oden come to town two weeks later, on Nov. 14.
Also, Allen Iverson returns to Philadelphia on March 19 for the first time since joining the Nuggets.
