Some Fort Collins residents just north of the Colorado State University campus woke up to slashed tires Saturday morning, according to police.

Between 2 and 6 a.m., cars parked in the area of Howes, Laurel, Sherwood and Maple streets had their tires punctured. Others that were unlocked had been entered and ransacked, while others were tagged with permanent marker, according to a statement.

Police do not have any suspects.

Residents in the area who found damage to their car are asked to call police at 970-221-6540. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Larimer County Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868.
