Douglas County investigators are at a house where two bodies were discovered earlier this evening.

The house is in the 8900 block of South Coyote Street in Highlands Ranch. Douglas County Sheriff’s spokesman Ron Hanavan said the sheriff’s office received a 911 call just before 6 p.m. tonight.

That led deputies to the house, where Hanavan said two bodies were discovered.

Officials are being tight-lipped about the investigation. Currently, Hanavan said, detectives are treating the case as a “death investigation” and said members of the public should not be worried for their safety.

“We have no reason to believe the public is in any danger whatsoever,” he said.
