A 19-year-old garbage worker was killed after being run over by a trash truck today in Pueblo, according to police.
The young man, whose name was not released, either fell or jumped off the back of the truck about 9:30 a.m. near Regency Boulevard and Senate Court, police said in a statement.
He was pulled under the wheels, causing several injuries.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
