Paul Rudd, who stars with Winona Ryder and Jessica Alba in “The Ten,” recently dished to MTV News about his weird food issues. Said Rudd: “God, I hate mustard. I don’t like condiments. Condiments in general I find unsettling. I don’t like ketchup. I don’t like mayonnaise. I didn’t have salad dressing until I was in college. I wasn’t ready. When I was a little kid I wouldn’t eat cucumbers unless my mother cut out the seeds. That behavior should not be tolerated, first of all. My mother did a horrible, horrible job. Thankfully I can now eat a whole cucumber.”

Was billionaire Viacom chief Sumner Redstone unfairly accused of being a cheapskate? Recently, the New York Post reported that staffers at NYC restaurant Il Postino called him “extremely cheap” when it comes to tipping, but Redstone’s good friend Bo Dietl retorted that Redstone always leaves a minimum of 40 percent. Except, of course, when the drinks tab is astronomical. Says Dietl, “Sumner probably didn’t leave 40 percent on the $600 bottle of Cristal he got on Wednesday,” during his makeup supper with estranged daughter (and potential Viacom heir) Shari. Said Il Postino’s owner, Alfio Ruocco: “It is a pleasure to have him as a customer.”

The owner may be a music man, but customers celebrating birthdays at Justin Timberlake’s new New York City restaurant Southern Hospitality shouldn’t expect to be serenaded. According to the New York Daily News, one diner recently asked the waitress if the servers would sing “Happy Birthday” to her companion, but the waitress simply replied, “We don’t sing.”

To celebrate her upcoming nuptials, “Grey’s Anatomy” alum Kate Walsh partied it up in Vegas over the weekend with her best girlfriends (including one-time co-star Sara Ramirez). The bachelorettes dined on sushi rolls, lobster won tons and Kobe beef at Tao Restaurant, recently named by the New York Times as the highest-grossing restaurant in the country.
