Two people were shot early this morning leaving a bar near 8th Avenue and Lincoln Street when robbers wearing ski masks demanded their money, police said.
The woman resisted the robbers and a fight ensued. The woman was shot in the leg and her male companion was shot in an unspecified area. Both were transported to Denver Health Medical Center where they were treated.
Police said the robbers fled the area. The victims were leaving the Funky Buddha bar after closing, around 2:20 a.m.
