COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—Houston midfielder Dwayne De Rosario helped Colorado break a 10-game winless streak when he headed a corner kick past his own goalkeeper to give the Rapids a 1-0 victory over the Dynamo on Saturday night.
The game’s only goal came in the 61st minute as the ball got past keeper Pat Onstad.
The Rapids held on to the lead despite playing with just 10 men after Ugo Ihemelu got a red card in the 77th minute.
Colorado hadn’t won since March 26, a 1-0 victory at home against the Los Angeles Galaxy, and has scored just six goals in its last 11 games.
