The Osmond Brothers, including Merrill, above, joined by siblings Donny, Marie and Jimmy, took the stage this week to tape a 50th anniversary reunion show to be aired on PBS next year. A meeting of no less than seven singing Osmonds onstage hadn’t happened in more than 20 years, the siblings say, although no one seems to remember the exact date of the last full family concert.
The brothers became regulars on “The Andy Williams Show” in the 1960s where they made their name and forged their wholesome and peppy image. The Osmonds have recorded 142 albums, selling 100 million copies with 51 gold and platinum recordings.
Britney Spears long ago proved she’s no innocent, but now she’s being hounded by talk of topless sex trysts and girl-on-girl action as her ex-hubby turns up the heat in their nasty custody fight. The pop star has been having bisexual romps with her pretty 21-year-old assistant Shannon Funk, according to an article set for publication. Lindsay Lohan was sued Tuesday for assault and negligence by a woman who was a passenger in a car the actress is accused of chasing while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Lohan “put me through one of the most frightening experiences of my life,” Tracie Rice said in a statement after the lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Lohan, 21, was arrested for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence and with a suspended license and felony cocaine possession after last month’s pre-dawn chase that ended in Santa Monica.
Lou Diamond Phillips’ second marriage is over. The actor’s nearly 11-year marriage to Kelly Phillips was dissolved on July 30, according to a Los Angeles Superior Court filing. The two will share custody of their three daughters. Phillips, 45, has starred in dozens of TV shows and films, including “La Bamba,” “Stand and Deliver” and “Young Guns.” He divorced his first wife, Julie Cypher, in 1990 after she left him for singer Melissa Etheridge.
David and Victoria Beckham have unpacked and are “loving” their new Beverly Hills home a month after the English soccer superstar relocated his family to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy. “I’ve never seen the kids and Victoria so happy,” Beckham said. Victoria Beckham has been busy organizing their mansion. “I am loving our new house – it is totally major!” she gushed in the first update on her blog since they moved in. “Just adding some of the finishing touches to it actually and then it really will feel like home.”
