A 33-year-old Arvada man wanted for allegedly trying to drown his girlfriend Sunday walked into a police station late Wednesday and gave himself up.
Alfredo Abel Gallegos had been the subject of a manhunt after an arrest warrant was issued for him on charges of attempted second-degree murder, second-degree assault, attempted second-degree burglary and second-degree kidnapping.
Gallegos walked into the Arvada Police Department just after 10 p.m. Wednesday and surrendered. He’s being held in Jefferson County Jail until a court hearing.
