Jenna Bush, the daughter of President George and Laura Bush, is engaged.
The White House announced today that Jenna Bush, 25, became engaged Wednesday to Henry Hager of Richmond, Va.
Laura Bush’s press secretary, Sally McDonough, told the Associated Press that no wedding date has been set.
Hager, 29, is attending the University of Virginia School of Business. He has been a White House aide and worked on Bush’s re-election campaign. His father is a former lieutenant governor in Virginia.
Jenna Bush, who has worked as an elementary school teacher, has a book coming out this fall. “Ana’s Story” is based on the first daughter’s time working for UNICEF and tells the story of a teenager single mother in Panama who is HIV positive.
