DES MOINES, Iowa—The Powerball jackpot was expected to increase to an estimated $210 million for Saturday since no one matched all six numbers in the midweek drawing.
The numbers selected Wednesday were 19, 22, 24, 38 and 51. The Powerball was 9 and the multiplier was 2.
Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $183.7 million jackpot.
A Colorado Power Play ticket, and two others sold in Oregon and Pennsylvania, matched the first five numbers only to win $400,000 apiece.
Thirteen other tickets without the Power Play option also matched five numbers to win $200,000. Pennsylvania and South Carolina each sold two, while Colorado, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, New Mexico and Rhode Island sold one apiece.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
It’s now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
