Fishing for compliments

Rocky Mountain Koi Show

Tagawa Gardens, 7711 S. Parker Road, Centennial; 303-690-4722

Bright orange, scarlet, brilliant white, deep black – koi are gorgeous, and some are worth hundreds to thousands of dollars. Have a look at some of the finest koi as collectors show off their prize fish. Stick around when the show closes in late afternoon. Watching the collectors pack up their fish for travel is a show in itself – lots more complicated than slipping the fish into a plastic bag of water.
