A 27-year-old Pueblo man was shot and killed during a home invasion robbery early today, the Pueblo Police Department said.
The victim was identified as Eric Ryan Ortiz.
He was treated in a home in the 700 block of East Third Street, but died at the scene, Sgt. Elias Manzanares said.
Detectives from the department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit are investigating the homicide, Manzanares added. From witness accounts, as many as four men may have been involved, he added. The invasion happened about 1:30 a.m., police said.
