Kendyll Merrell graduated in May as one of eight valedictorians at Faith Christian High School in Arvada.
Kendyll served on student council. She was twice elected student of the month and is the winner of the Virtuous Woman Award. In soccer, she was named best spiritual leader.
Kendyll took Advanced Placement courses, was on the honor roll for four years and was a member of the National Honor Society, French Club and Robotics Club, as well as the choir group.
Kendyll volunteers with her church, Faith Ministries Church International. She has been a youth leader for camps in the United States, England and South Africa. She also served on a medical missions team in Kenya.
Kendyll is now living in southern France for six months to study French and assist in missionary work.
