Authorities arrested a 25-year-old Littleton man Monday night on suspicion of trying to sexually lure someone he believed to be a child over the Internet.
Investigators with the District Attorney’s office acted on a tip from someone out of state that led them to Juan Carlos Alcedo, who allegedly entered into an online chat with someone he believed to be 14 years old.
According to an arrest affidavit, Alcedo originally told the person he believed to be an under-aged teen that he also was 14.
The affidavit goes on to say that Alcedo talked about wanting to have sex as well as transmitted naked pictures over the Internet.
Alcedo is scheduled to receive charges on Aug. 31 in Jefferson County Court. He is currently being held on $25,000 bond.
