Boulder police arrested a 20-year-old man today as a suspect in an early-morning robbery attempt.
Kaleb Carl Nelson is being held at the Boulder jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery, a class 3 felony.
Nelson is suspected of pointing a gun at a woman and a man in a car and demanding money.
The incident happened at about 3 a.m. at 805 29th St., police said in a press release.
The gunman fled the scene on foot. No one was injured.
Investigators received information on a possible suspect and attempted to contact him at an apartment at 2915 Baseline Road, police said.
Officers saw two men inside the apartment, but they refused to come to the door, police said.
A search warrant was obtained, and both men answered the door at about noon.
Police arrested Nelson without incident. The other man in the apartment was not identified, and police describe him as a possible witness.
