The one-word piece of advice – “plastics” – to Dustin Hoffman’s character in “The Graduate” was not lost on Noel Ginsburg.

The president of container-maker Intertech Plastics Inc. in northeastern Denver recently added 11,000 square feet to the plant, including a new tool-and-die shop and a 1,500-ton injection molding machine.

Ginsburg has expanded the firm from its modest start in 1980 with $500,000 in sales to one of the region’s largest plastic-container manufacturers, with annual revenue of $16 million.
