The Avalanche’s training camp, which starts Sept. 13, will feature 30 veterans, plus players selected from the rookie camp that runs Sept. 8-11.

CHL’s Rage adds two with Avs connections
The Rocky Mountain Rage of the Central Hockey League signed center Daymen Rycroft and left wing Colt King to contracts, the team said.
Rycroft, a cousin of Avalanche forward Mark Rycroft, is a former CHL all-star who last season played for the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL. King was a fourth-round pick by the Avs in the 2001 NHL entry draft and played for the Port Huron Flags of the United Hockey League last season.
NBADL’s 14ers to hold open tryouts
