As a professor of art at the University of Colorado, Ken Iwamasu might have turned his talent to any number of ancillary pursuits. Luckily, he loves fly-fishing.
The result is a proliferation of original patterns and a general artistry in tying that makes him a favorite of those who appreciate beautiful flies.
Iwamasu, a frequent magazine contributor, will entertain and inform at a presentation, “Tying and Fishing Special Fly Patterns,” on Sept. 18 for the Cutthroat Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
