The Massachusetts Democratic Party is launching a first-of-its-kind website that it says contains an unparalleled repository of information about Mitt Romney’s record that could be used against the former governor in his White House run.
lays out a wealth of documents: personal financial disclosure statements he filed as governor, policy proposals he put forward in his 2002 campaign, several old campaign ads and a searchable database of campaign contributions from his entire political career.
GI’s family thanks Richardson
Democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson was thanked this week by the family of a soldier killed during the Korean War for his part in helping to return the soldier’s remains from North Korea.
Richardson, New Mexico’s governor, met with the family of Cpl. Clem Robert Boody of Independence, Iowa, on Tuesday in Des Moines, days after they learned that DNA testing confirmed the remains as those of their family member.
The family credits Richardson and former Veterans Affairs Secretary Anthony Principi, who traveled to North Korea in April and spoke with military leaders there, for securing the remains of six soldiers, including Boody.
