A jet-setting buddy, weary of too many hotel rooms and living out of his suitcase, came home eagerly looking forward to doing laundry and using his new lavender dryer sheets. A sight-impaired friend recently got into my car, which the day before had transported two dogs to the vet, and pronounced the lavender scent just heavenly.
What better endorsements for this shrubby botanical and its soothing and calming properties? While we love bunches of the dried herb (the harvest season is ongoing through September), we’ll continue to make do with some of our favorite products for the home.
