The site highlights ideas and products such as track-system panels, a natural woven wood, bamboo or grass product that can be installed instead of doors, and translucent roller shades, a stylish alternative to curtains or blinds. Both of these products are featured in Dwell magazine’s Harlem Renovation Project, a 10-part documentary spotlighting one couple’s brownstone renovation experience.

The makers of Purex Natural Elements laundry detergent want to know your organic buying habits, and are offering $1,000 for the information. The “Go Natural and Win Green Sweepstakes” asks consumers to visit and fill out a brief questionnaire for a chance at the cash. The company will select one winner a week through Nov. 2, who will receive a $100 gift card for “making the natural choice.”
