An updated state web site touted by Gov. Bill Ritter today will help Colorado students apply for college and calculate how much financial aid they could receive.
Ritter announced the revamped web site, , to about 300 kids at Smiley Middle School in Denver.
The site has been up for three years, but now includes a financial aid calculator, scholarship searches, college entrance exam practice tests, virtual tours of Colorado campuses and high- school course planners.
“Don’t be afraid to dream big,” Ritter told the 6th-, 7th- and 8th-graders. “Every kid’s dream matters to us. Every kid’s vision matters to us. That is the purpose of this web site.”
