Beastro Bandanas

Last year, in honor of the kickoff of football season, Lisa and Tim Boomershine decided to glitz up their golden retrievers with Broncos’ bandannas. The only problem? They were having a hard time finding them. So the Boomershines decided to sew their own. The bandannas scored so many points at the dog park, the Broomfield residents launched Beastro Bandanas, ensuring that this year, even the fuzziest Broncos fans can be dressed appropriately for $5 or less.

Deborah Western Johnson marks her second year showcasing the wares of Colorado artists at the wide spot in the road known as Twin Lakes. On your way to peep at the leaves along Independence Pass, stop in and check out gorgeous vessels turned from aspen wood, fused and blown glass, pottery and painting. But hurry, High Country Treasures is open only as long as the road is clear.
