Silent poison pens
The best thing about the Rockies’ current success is it has taken the negative poison pens out of Paige’s and Kiszla’s hands. It was tiring to read that constant dribble. I don’t think either of them would know which way to go on an intentional walk.

Golf’s gaffe
So the FedEx Cup series is important? The No. 1 golfer took a week off. The PGA will only televise the first two rounds on the Golf Channel. No one, including many of the players, understands how the event works. And the public yawns for four weeks while waiting to see which of the many millionaires wins an annuity that most don’t need. Even the six months of hype can’t help this puppy.
