Brilliantly colored balloons play against a backdrop of changing leaves in the final day of the 32nd annual balloon festival here. Balloons launch from the Snowmass softball fields on Brush Creek Road. This morning’s competition runs from 7 to 9 p.m., with pilots skimming low over golf course water hazards to shy tennis balls into large floating tubes.
