Broncos defensive tackle Marcus Thomas is among the players from Week 2 nominated for the NFL rookie of the week award, the league said.
Thomas intercepted Raiders quarterback Josh McCown in the second quarter on third-and-9, ending an Oakland drive.
Thomas joins Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson, Houston tackle Amobi Okoye, San Francisco linebacker Patrick Willis and Green Bay running back DeShawn Wynn as nominees.
The award will be announced later today.
