The Metro State men’s basketball team will begin its 2007-08 season Nov. 2 – its earliest season opener in more than 20 years – and will face four teams that qualified for last season’s NCAA Division II Tournament, the team said.

Metro State begins with Montana State-Billings on Nov. 2, at the Disney Classic in Anaheim, Calif. At the tournament, the Roadrunners will also face Cal State San Bernardino, an NCAA semifinalist last year; and Kentucky Wesleyan, a team Metro has faced three times in the NCAA championship game since 1999. Metro will face Fort Lewis on Dec. 7.
