DENVER—Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter will testify before a House committee on global warming in Washington on Thursday.
Ritter, a Democrat who has pushed to make renewable energy a bigger part of the state’s economy, will also participate in a panel discussion on the “Greening of America” sponsored by the Alliance to Save Energy.
He will later accept a public service award from the alliance on behalf of the Western Governors Association.
Ritter’s House testimony will be before the House Select Committee on Renewable Energy and Global Warming.
