The Rocky Mountain Rage of the Central Hockey League has signed goaltender Terry Dunbar and defensemen Jami Yoder and Pat Sutton on Thursday.
Dunbar spent last season playing for the Knoxville Ice Bears of the Southern Professional League, where he had an .819 save percentage. He also played with Rage head coach Tracy England in 2005-06 for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
Yoder has played in nearly 700 games for nine teams in four different leagues in his 11-year career. Most recently he spent two seasons with the Quad City Mallards of the United Hockey League, where he had 119 penalty minutes and 16 points.
Sutton joins the Rage from the UHL as well, playing last season with the Port Huron Flags, where he scored 19 points.
Tickets for hockey regional go on sale Oct. 1
Tickets for the 2008 NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey Regional Championship in Colorado Springs will go on sale Oct. 1 at 10 a.m.
The first round of the tournament will be held at the World Arena on March 28 at 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., with the regional final March 29 at 8 p.m.
Three-game ticket packages are available for $89 for the lower bowl and $74 for the upper bowl and can be purchased at the World Arena box office, by logging on to or by calling 719-576-2626.
Any person buying tickets on the first day that regional tickets go on sale will have the opportunity to win two tickets to the 2008 Frozen Four in Denver on April 10 and 12, which is sold out.
