Height: 5-feet-6
Weight: 130 pounds
Age: 17. Born Feb. 3, 1990, in Denver.
High school sport: Field hockey (2006 honorable mention all-state goal keeper by The Denver Post) and golf (helped Mustangs win the 2007 Class 4A team title last spring).
Grade-point average: 4.0. Class: Senior.
My favorite subject: Mathematics and math-based sciences.
My favorite athlete: Jordan Sedlacek, our former keeper now playing at Dartmouth.
My favorite team: Avalanche. Hockey is similar to field hockey, and it’s so fast. Body checking is a good thing.
The best thing on my training table: I love breakfast, particularly French toast.
Pregame ritual: For field hockey, I draw a star with three dots on my hand with a Sharpie, use the same hair tie, and the coach warms me up with a ball we call the “ouch” ball.
Planned career: Architectural engineering; considering Lehigh, Bucknell, Yale, Tufts and Dartmouth.
My family: Parents Bernie and Bruce.
What I like most about high school sports: I really love the camaraderie. The team connection is so great, even at practice. It’s intense, but you’re having fun at the same time.
What I like least about high school sports:
I pretty much like everything, but the level of competition is so varied across the board.
